FUELING HEALTHY FUTURES: FOOD LION FEEDS PARTNERS WITH ATRIUM HEALTH CABARRUS TO FIGHT HUNGER
We are extremely honored and grateful to have received a grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation for the Atrium Health Jeff Gordon Children’s Center Healthy Futures Clinic and the new onsite Food Pantry to help nourish neighbors experiencing hunger. The “Nourishing Our Neighbors” grant supports community feeding partners as they tackle food insecurity and promote healthier lifestyles through nutritional education initiatives.
The Healthy Futures Clinic is in Kannapolis. This team works to help children and their families make healthy lifestyle changes to things like diet and physical activity, in turn lowering their risk of chronic diseases. Together, everyone empowers the whole family to achieve healthier lifestyles from now to the future.
