CARDIAC REHABILITATION

It’s time to sign up for the 21st Annual Cupid’s Cup 5K and 1-Mile Walk. All proceeds from the Cupids Cup 5k benefit Cardiac Rehabilitation programs & patients at Atrium Health Cabarrus, Kenilworth, Pineville & Union. Register to participate on race day in either the 5K or 1 Mile Walk ($35, t- shirt included). Register as a “Virtual Participant” if you cannot attend on race day ($35, t-shirt included). A portion of your registration fee will go towards covering event cost, any additional fundraising is appreciated and will support our scholarship funds that pays for Cardiac Rehab who are uninsured or have high copays.

The Charles A. Cannon Heart Center provides the region with a full-service heart care program in affiliation with the heart specialists from the nationally recognized Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute (SHVI). Among the Cannon Heart Center and SHVI are 12 cardiologists, 3 cardiothoracic surgeons and 13 advanced practitioners. The Cannon Heart Center provides complete care from stress testing to cardiovascular surgery, as well as cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation through our Wellness Center.

A new 184,000 square foot Heart & Vascular Tower was constructed for Cardiac Services. The four-story state-of-the-art building houses all Cardiac Services in our patient-focused heart center that opened in the Fall of 2019.

  • Pedometers to cardiac patients
